Oh my goodness I had 2 possibles for this challenge... I hope I chose the right one!!!

Nice use of black, would like a little more light on face and negative space to right of hand.

Would be more effective if the model were centered horizontally in the photo... since you are trying to portray a "balanced" state of mind.
