 This is the most awesome hardware store EVER. It was completely flooded after the hurricanes in 2004 (it sits right on the riverbank) and I figured that was the end of it. But, no, in true mountain fashion, they cleaned up and opened it back up.

I am always glad to hear good stories of people with the strength to come back and help keep a community strong after a disaster like that. I would be careful about using the upper door to exit the building.
