Shot in the living room with the new set of monolights. This is a shot I've been wanting to do for years but just had the technical means to do it. The wall behind me is in fact white but the only lighting being flashes at high power with a very, very small aperture I was able to darken it almost completely.

IMHO, this isn't low key as much as it's just poor lighting ... all you'd need is a reflector to bouce the light to the dark side of his face to make this a regular portrait ...
