flash set on floor about 12" from the green wall - aiming up with catch light reflector up. subject roughly 12' from the wall with sunlight shining on subjects - but not on the wall lit by the flash. slower shutter used to allow foreground proper exposure.
this was one of six test shots i took. my hand held out in front of the camera just far enough away for close focus and allowing me to see through the viewfinder.

Great idea, perhaps slightly more plant showing at the top I like the gradient background but it seems to have lost some detail in the leaves. good luck
