This has a timeless look to it and I love the explanation of the white spot on his nose! His expression is wonderfully endearing and a bit "cheeky" as you so aptly titled the picture.
I think this is a really cool shot and should have scored much higher. I think it meets the challenge well and I like the processing. But, what do I know.
What a beautiful baby!! What might have hurt you a bit, is the the circle smack dab in the middle of the nose. I'm not sure if that is from the light or your processing.
