After I did the initial crop, I did the following:
Levels
Bright/Contrast
Curves
Levels again
Crop again
Saturated all colours heavily
Bright/Contrast again
resized
5 layers neat image on highest setting
colour balance
This is kool-aid floating in a puddle of oil :)
Will probably do really really really really badly but at least I had fun ;)

Hard to tell what this is but it is a "Biology" Challenge. I think it was very creative but I don't like the harsh lines where your photo is blurry to where it is more focused. Also probably not a very popular type photo.
huh. sort of funky. looks bit like the stuff i used to look at through a microsope in my marine biology class, but it also just isn't really clear what's going on here. also seems to have been oversharpened, as there appears to be some digital artifacts in the lower left quadrant. - 3
