I haven't put anything up in my profile for a long time, but I kind of like this one. The ice is saltwater sprayed from waves such as the one breaking in the background. It was really, really cold, but so worth it to get out and walk around!
I don't have words to describe what I feel looking at this.
It's like a mystical place, sort of in a foreboding locale.
The mix of the green in the foreground makes this shot in my opinion.
How COOL! It almost looks like one of the digital art photos where they added a texture photo! Yes, I'd say definitely worth the cold fingers and toes getting out to get a shot like this! :)
Great shot Amy, I really love the DOF and how the wave is breaking in the background, I love when saltwater forms ice, it has a bit of a different pattern to it. Nice shot.
