Avoid blown out skies like the plauge. You had a fairly good idea here, but your technicals are killing you. The foot provides a nice point of interest, having a girl painting her toenails with some vivid colors would be better. The blown skies is more than an exposure technical, light draws the eyes. If the whole picture were high-key, then the preponderance of light would force the eyes to seek out details in what dark is left. |
