are these frozen? looks like water particles frozen on the surface, not tempting

The colour is great, however there are one or two hot spots creaping in on some of the carrots.

I also think that the composition could be improved by either cropping wider to fit the top of the top carrot in, or cropped closer to remove the background all together.

seems out of focus and lacking in sharpness to me.
