 Used one halogen lamp and 580EX on camera. Bounced the flash. Used 5x magnfier on the 28-135. Full zoom and focus on macro.
Increased shadows and contrast and desaturized slightly in RAW process. rezised and sharpened.

In my opinion, it's too out of focus. If the entire core had been in focus, it might work better.
