For a rustic theme an older table top might have been more effective. As is, nothing seems to pop for me. Also consider: the lemon seems to have been thrown in. The challenge was for either/or/both - you didn't need the lemon.

Pretty colors. A tighter crop would probably add, as well as diffused light so the reflections are not so glary (is that a word?).
