I don't have the light box for good table top photography. I probably shouldn't enter this challenge. But I love to participate, so here is a shot of my daughter's salad bar selection taken at a restaurant in very low light using the camera's built-in flash and auto setting. All the wrong things for table top. If I get the brown ribbon, I deserve it.
Really can't get the brown ribbon anymore with Whiterock participating, but I came darn close. All I can say for this is that all low scores were well deserved and the comments were absolutely correct and appreciated. And the dinner was FABULOUS!

I think the food looks kind of eaten a bit, but still looks attractive! I am amazed because it seems like a hard thing to pull off. Even if the food wasn't eaten a bit, it still seems that way, and it makes me think of being in the middle of a great meal.
The pale blue plate, adds like a natural frame round the subject, looks just so, I could pull up a chair, the dark over the edge of the table is a little distracting, and it has that look of a camera mounted flash, well done
IMHO there is just far too much noise and too many blown highlights in this one.
Agin IMHO it doesn't appear that there has been any consideration for the composition of this, with the edges of the plate out of frame and the distracing background to the left and top of the frame.
