I have more pictures of fruits and vegetables than I figure a person really needs. I took shots at the open market on Saturday but it was a very gray, rainy, high ISO kinda day. So this morning I went forth and bought peppers. I don't even eat peppers. I have lots of pretty shots of peppers, which are colorful but not all that exciting on their own. So here is a picture of some peppers. They kinda look like a gang ready to pick a fight, don't you think?
Natural outdoor light - the rare bit of it we got on Sunday. Background is a whitish wall in the backyard that was a bit more gray than white (corrected with levels).
Crop, levels, curves, high pass sharpen, convert to whichever profile it is that you use for the web, resize, save for web. There may have been a smart sharpen after the resize, too.

I like this one as well, you scored well. I think so far out of all of your images I would classify this as eye candy. Colors are great background is nice and white.
Excellent personification with this entry. Title suits these peppers excellently. Nice, crisp details and very strong composition for simple subject. As usual, great entry Deb!
