This is Wilson's Creek School, the newest school in the Springfield School District, but it is actually in Battlefied, MO. It was built to ease crowding of nearby schools and has 5th and 6th grades. It has only been open a couple of years, yet continued growth in the area has already caused overcrowding and so they are adding on. The sign is thanking the voters for approving the tax increase to allow upgrades at several area schools.
(When I went to take these photos, I meant to set my ISO at 100, and when I was processing I couldn't figure out why there was so much noise. I guess I pushed the ISO button too many times because it was actually set at 1600. I may reshoot later, because it is a very nice school, both inside and out.)
