My wife and I went to the Rememberance Day ceremony at the Grand Parade in Halifax where the cenotaph is located. We got there early to get a good spot, but we didn't expect that so many people would be there. It was our first time being at the Rememberance Day activities in Halifax so we didn't really have any idea how many people would be there. Turned out to be lots... over 1000 for sure. It quickly came apparent that I wouldn't get any good shots of the veterans, so I gave it up.
Went for lunch and stopped by the cenotaph before heading home and snapped a few shots of a drawing left with the wreaths.
