 This is my best friend... in a wig! :)

I needed an entry for another contest and she was happy to play the part. At first she was a bit scared, as some of the flames got pretty high... after the 3rd photo or so, she was ok and we got this shot! :)

This is all real fire used here. I had a piece of plexi under her and lit it up. Lit the rock as well.

In PS, I just cloned out the edge of the plexi and made it look a bit smoother. I made the Brown backdrop black, and made the purple on the bikini pink. And Tada!

But yes... it's real fire! :D

From the thumbnail, I thought she was worshipping a shrine of rubber duckies. ;-)

she does look a little scared.... but the concept is GREAT! and the shot is nice and clear!

I like it, except for her expression. It comes off... hesitant, to me.

wow, that must have been a scary shot for her to pose for!! kudos for you 2!

I think I'd like it better when she was a little bit closer to the fire.. if that was possible. that way she really stands inside the "ring of fire" and gives more balance some way.
