Beautiful, expansive composition. Love the airy light and cleanliness of this - very good concept too.
Just by way of info, it looks a touch 'overlightened' on my Powerbook LCD (loss of tone in clouds and top of mountains).

Congratulaions on the ribbon. It is a lovely image and a well-deserved placement. Anne

clever composition and great opening into space. Water at its best.

David! I LOVE it! I recognize the mountain but not the water. I loved the way the photo first took me to the dock and then my eyes moved upward to a wonderful surprise - snow covered mountains! Beautiful!

I must admit that it would have been nice to have selected the top portion and darkened it just a little....Oh well. Thanks for the votes! This was a fun shot to take in a beautiful place I'm sure I'll go back to.

Pretty shot. May be a little too much curves done to bring the foreground light enough. The clouds seem odd as a result. 8 -danny

Breathtaking, an absolute delight to look at. The only thing keeping this from being an absolutely perfect shot are the small pieces that are disturbing the reflection above and to the left of the tie-up. Still, a rather minor detail...a strong 9!

Spectacular view! I like the contrast of the rough dock. The branches (?) on the right are a minor distraction.

What a stunning image. Very little to critique here really.. Shame there's a branch on the right, but otherwise pretty spot on. Fits the title well too. Good luck on a ribbon.

unfortunately the dock is distracting, and its plastic. What an f*&$#@ing view though, Aslan would be proud.

gorgeous! your eyes get all lost in that vision of mountains and clouds and reflections and by the time you've worked your way down the photo yo find yourself on the dock. Colors and light work well. I wis the branches on the right weren't there. 9

can't put my finger on it but the sky and clouds don't look natural, especially where they meet the mountaintops near the center.

I love C S Lewis. I have only read a few of the essays from that book. Good representative image. You might try cropping the sky down almost to the mountains since the top part is washed out.

oh, man, what a shot! It's os beautiful it almost looks unreal! Love the dock in the FG, the reflections off the water and the snowy mountailns. The branches in the water take away from the shot just a little but it's not changing my score of 10!

Stunning light....and color. I think this would of benefited by a cropping the bottom tighter. It really isn't the area of interest. {also the dock is dark on my monitor..I did save and lighten to see it} Anyway it's a lovely shot, love the reflection, light and the view.

A very interesting picture. You captured a beautiful sky and mountain and then captured their reflection. Good job. The colors are also great.
