The house next door is empty, and awaiting demolishment (is there such a word? it lookes weird). i guess it'll be a cow pasture, but we're hoping to convince the new land owner to leave about 30 feet of buffer. cross fingers.
this is a slightly older pic, as i didn't get out shooting yesterday at all, and spent the day housecleaning. not very inspiring at all. it's only 3 weeks old. the weather has been bizarre this year. three weeks ago there were people out mowing their lawn in shorts and t-shirts on the sunday, then on the wednesday it was down to -26 c. then a day of rain on the friday. now it's -15. gah.
The lens flare is a bit of a distraction, and could be cropped or cloned out, but I guess you knew that before posting it.
I am impressed with the elements of the angular house, the bright spot sun, the little lone cloud, and esp the way the shadow mirrors the house.
I wish a lot of houses would disappear from here in S W Florida, but they are all new ones. : P

Awwwwww the house looks great, can't it be saved?? I've got socks older than that place......perhaps appearances are deceptive. Anyway it's a cracking shot, love the little white cloud.
