500w flood light reflected of a red curtain onto a white wall to give the red back light. Would have liked to have fire there but maybe a bit distacting and time consuming. my face is lit by a low wattage lamp from under neath to give the "evil" effect. lots of photoshop. most useful I found to be the shadow/highlight with advanced options on. colour correction and midtone contrast really brought out the soot on my face and punched the eyes out.
