I was driving along in an unfamiliar area of town and saw two of these bizarre metal buildings. I don't know if you can tell, but they are huge! I was driving in heavy traffic and I was in a hurry, so I couldn't stop. However, luckily, the light turned red and I could stop. I managed to take two pictures without cars zooming by. Decided to desaturate it because it looks better, in my opinion. It's nothing to write home about, and I don't know what the whole thing is for, but I like it. :o)
Edit to day that I'm not sure if I should crop the dark street at the bottom. I already chopped off a big piece of street - any input?
I like the black at the bottom. It gives the image height and made me feel like the scene was on a dock rather than a road. It seems a bit tilted to the right. May wish to do a slight straighten in the CCW direction.
I don't know what they put in there, but they have room for a bunch of it. Maybe in the next few days if you go by there again you will see a sign or a truck going in or out and find out what they use the building for. I would guess that building would show up in the satellite images available on line for sure.
If you had a polarizer that would work with your camera, the sky would be much darker, and the building would stand out better. I have used one of my larger ones with a HP point & shoot with good results by just holding it over the lens when shooting.
