And your ribbon preference is?
Shame about the slight linear reflections (damn editing rules). Lovely clarity and capture.

Very excellent. The lightness of the ripple around the clear drop really pulls it away from the darkness of the background, divides the two perfectly and really makes the title fit. Definately should be in the top 5 of this challenge. Nice shooting, and a well deserved 10.

Gorgeous image. Beautiful clear tones. I expect it's the ripple but the gradient looks a llittle rough and is mildly distracting. Good job on the lighting - I'd like to know how you lit this shot and positioned your camera to take it. -9

Well executed, but surely old hat by now. Check out Dr Harold (Doc) Edgerton's work, if you don't already know it of course.

Haven't heard of this book but that is a great picture. How did you do it?

Decent and reasonably tricky. And I do like the book- is this the secret to a good Mole sauce?

Good one. A little sad it seems like we see the spotlight around the waterdrop. 7

Interesting color and composition. Well done water drop splash. Color and lighting excellent. Placing the drop on a ROT intersection point might even be more effective.

awesome!!! Only critism IMO is the lighting - i wish it weren't so dark on the right side and the would like to see a tighter crop. 8

Original idea! your photo does meet the challenge quite well. I personnaly would've cropped it either dead center or using the rule of 3rds. That rule does'nt apply to all shots but ones with lotsa clean negative space... it's more pleasing to the eye. 7

beautiful water splash shot, very clean and sharp.
But what I think makes the shot perfect is your unusual color choice here,
works great :) 10

Beautiful! I actually had the same idea for a title, though my execution would've been completely different if I had gone through with it. Yours is stunningly sharp.
