Thanks for the comments. This rock is part of the family since my daughter found it near the Royal Gorge last year. She let out a yell when she found it and I thought she was bitten by a rattler or something.
It kind of makes me wonder how many folks have walked right by this lonely ole rock in the past 300 years or so, and missed the natural expression he has in stone.
Great subject, and the light accentuates the facial features and "arms" in the rock. I wish you would have opened up your f-stop to blur out the branches, though, as the background is distracting.
This reminds me of the animated movie "The Point" from 1971.
It was about a boy named Oblio and his dog Arrow.

This is the perfect rendition of The Rock Man.
The color is good and not over-saturated. The detail is sharp and the snow is not blown-out in the highlights. Over-all an excellent entry for this challenge and a great find. 9
