This was one of my favorite shots for this challenge. I just love aspen trees and this composition of them is fantastic. The light and shadow play and range of tones is just beautiful.
I love the pattern in this shot. The trees are beautiful and the snow on the ground really adds to your shot. Wonderfully setup and captured. Nice work.
I'm giving your photo a 10. The only 'ding' I could see and it's just personal taste is your border. I think if you added a small 2-4 pixel border first, then a thinner white border followed lastly by a black border like you have, it may have helped just a tad more. Like I said, it's great...one of the few 10's I've given out so far after 234 entry views (I've not been impressed this free challenge). I hope it does well for you.
I really admire the way you have composed such a strong image from such a simple subject. I have tried similar shots to this, but never been able to pull off my vision.
My favourite trees. I like minimalistic feeling here. Hope you will come back there in Spring and make simillar picture which could be printed on big canvas. (No voting, just commenting)
