 This is a photo that I took on January 1st of my dad with my new camera that my parents gave me for a Christmas gift. I had my camera on a tripod. My dad has been helping me to learn on my camera and we were taking pictures of fireworks together on new years day.

I like the way the shape of fire seems to be coming through the figure. I like the colors. it almost overcomes the DPC cliche of spinning a light around. 7

Great shot. Perhaps you could have toned down the 'fountain' behind him as it looks like it has burnt out.
