Last day find. I came home with just a little while till deadline and ended up babysitting Abby & Carson on the spur of the moment (not that I minded :) So I only had a few minutes to edit this and submit it. Maybe it's better -- I didn't have so much time to agonize and 2nd-guess myself to death. I hope it doesn't get buried in mediocrity.

OMG .. this is just so my sort'v photograph .. absolutely love it .. love the beautiful delicate colours and the fantastic dof .. that bee .. WOW .. !! .. i would definitely be overjoyed to have taken a photograph like this .. :)
I've tried to capture insects in flight before, and know how difficult it is- I gave this a very high score. You not only managed to capture the bee in sharp detail, but include beautiful bokeh and compose it well. Very well done indeed!
You really need to quit putting the "I hope this doesn't bomb" stuff in your comments. I think you're incapable of actually bombing in a challenge! :-) Lovely shot with amazing DOF - and another top 15 for the record books, too!
I love the colors and composition in this image. The way you captured that little bee coming in for a landing is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! This would make such a nice poster!!!!
I voted 5 at first look and then found the bee.....I'm now bumping it up to 7, but I think it would have been a 9 or 10 if the bee was closer to the focused flower. There is just too much space between subjects. Great shot though and great timing.
