 the idea was to capture a relation between the object and the background ( a sea shell,and the harbor, trough the harbour's tower in the back) capturing both the light of sunset

Color oversaturated for my taste. Have the image larger: it provides more details to the viewer.

Love the chosen DOF. You've left just enough detail in the background to give context to the image. Wonderful lighting on the shell. My only beef is the apparent red colour cast.
