you may want to incorporate more whites to create less gray. subtracting some gray or adding more white may help to make the value in this image better.

shadows on the background are very distracting, but nice and sharpe all the same

Nice duotone: I like the human shadow in the background...it ads a story to this...lifts the image from simply being a picture of "a thing".

i really like the presentation here, but the shadow in the background doesn't seem to offer much. it's retty interesting overall, though.
