Usually the razor thin DOF are a bit too harsh and don't make sense. But with that leaf staying well within that plane of focus, this one work quite well. The whole composition is well balanced as a result. Nicely done!
Beautiful colours and textures on display here, I love the veined orange and black leaf, the mossy green wood and the blue background. I like too the way that the stripes of the leaf mirror those of the wooden decking. I think the background is a little too cluttered shape and colour wise and would prefer the blue of the top right corner to prevail through most of the background but the image works as is too.
