 Yes! I took a hammer to my good china. Then I took a picture of it and immediately took the hammer off! I used a softbox directly above and a reflector to the left of the set up. I had some window light coming in from the right. I used my Canon Rebel XT with a 100mm macro lens set up on a tripod.

too small - 4. this might have scored much higher, but can't see the picture well enough at this size to really evaluate its merits.

a shallow dof usually means there's something blurry.. nothing is blurry here, the picture is small, the plates have no detail to them at all...
