My opinion (whilst no expert on motion panning) - I think you're right that it doesn't show enough panning effect. However.. very nice capture - really like the capture of the mane and all the 'horsehair'. If the quality is there (maybe some blown issues(?)), perhaps cropped tighter top and right (and possibly bottom too), might make for an unusual and good ('other') image as well. edit:to add - I gave your entry a 5, mainly for the blown issues, it was a very difficult Challenge/technique
