 This was taken out in our front yard. Just a small hog nose snake wondering in the tall crass.

The grainy background avts a bit distrubing in this picture. Next time less ISO.

I'm not sure how many tries it must have taken to get the tongue fully extended like that. Good job.

The idea here is good. The lighting is nice. Not sure if I like how the composition is centered. I think more of a traditiona 4x6 or even 5x7 format would have helped (I almost didn't notice the snake at first). Background is nice. You'll probably get hit a bit from the noise police. I think a tighter crop would have made this a real winner. Above average rating from me.
