Not expecting this to do particularly well, but enjoyed my early morning cycle/photo session before work so much I felt obliged to enter something.
Used a teensy bit of HDR to make it not 100% silhouette

Wicked tree! I love it. Should have scored higher. Perhaps because it didn't fill the frame? Did you try editing the sky in some funky way? Perhaps making it blood red? That might be sweet. Let me know if you try it.
