Old tricks here, nylons stretched over the lens, panned the whole rig with a medium shutter speed to give a little life to a cut and dry sky/sea horizon wihout putting too much emphasis on the motion.
All the old school tricks work with any reasonable p+s style cam as long as you can have a little control, and i think it forces a little more creativity when your not shooting a big dSLR.

There's a shot you don't see every day (well I don't anyway). A Powerful image, perhaps a little noise reduction would have helped, but it certainly fits the challenge.
