Playing with me new strobes and gels! Minor spot editing, some dodge and burn, levels, USM, the usual. Yet another out-of-the-box entry, but at least it's in a Nude Challenge this time. Will probably get voted down for lack of nudity. Hehehehe
Post Challenge Didn't place as well as I would've hoped, but the score was decent. The idea was to show new life and growth (hence the green color). FWIW, the green color wasn't my favorite either, but it was a statement I was going for. Maybe a more subtle green would be more appealing! Thanks for the comments guys.

Greetings from the Critique Club!
My first impression of this shot is that it is refreshingly creative and thought provoking. The green hues are a bit too harsh for my tastes.
It looks like you got plenty of comments to help you with this shot. The idea of changing this to a b/w, or a more muted tone I think is a good one. There is also a small section of the back which is less green than the other areas, which stands out once I noticed it.
The fabric around the head also seems somewhat cut out, and not as soft as the rest of the edges. Combined with the green border, it gives it more of a sci-fi look, than a soft and natural look. Adjusting the lighting might have also helped to make this softer.
Overall though, this is a great show of creativity. It isn't the typical DPC ribbon winning shot, but it clearly made an impact with the voters, recieving so many comments during the voting process. And sometimes, I think that is more important!
Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions about this critique.
Could have been worse (in terms of score); but the photo could not have been more creative. Hope to see more of the same thinking in your next entries...
Cool idea and well executed. The lighting is a little too flat. Getting it off to the side, or top right or top left to help strengthen the illusion of hanging.
Intriguing! But even with the green edging of the cocoon the head melts too much into the background making the foetal shape incomplete and slightly odd.
Holy crap. THis is the most origional shot I've seen in a long time. Very interesting. I think the color hue could be better, but it didn't hurt what score I gave you. I hope you explain how you did this one.
To me, this is one of the most original shots of the challenge. So simple, great pose, straight to the point. Love it. The saturation of the green is slightly too strong for my taste. A strong 8 from me.
