I like the photo, but I don't understand the title. A new moon is invisible (all black) - this crescent is 3-4 days off from new.

A lovely image, but too much going on (imo) to be a 'minimalism' entry. My eye is wandering around seeing lots of details which distracts from the subject. Your title mentions the moon, which is great, but the subject of the image is definitely the pier and the people on it.
