Colors are great in this photo. I think the photo is just too busy though, branches in front of the bird, and the other bird in the background. A little too centered for my taste. I also think a more uniform background woud have helped.

Nice sharp image of the cardinal, and the goldfinch gives the image some depth. I might've cropped a bit more tightly in landscape to reduce the amount of white sky in top left. I like it.

Cardinals stand out beautifully on a winter tree. This one is a little soft in the head (focus-wise).
