Challenge: Wildlife III (Advanced Editing V)
Camera: Canon EOS-350D Rebel XT
Lens: Tamron AF 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di II for Canon
Location: St James' Park
Date: Jan 15, 2007
Date Uploaded: Jan 15, 2007

As a subject, I think 'Wildlife' is, even more than 'Landscape', the complete antithesis of all that I either enjoy looking at, or am any good at shooting. And that, I suppose, makes taking a wildlife shot a proper 'challenge' for me.

Takes a minute to figure out what is going on here. Makes the viewer stop and think. Lovely rendering of the feathers.

I'm a bit confused by the composition. I figured out what it is but consider composing to make subject clearer.

Very nicely composed and captured. I also like how the sidelight creates a sense of cold, further reflected by the appearance of "bundling up" portrayed here. Well done.
