Photographer’s Notes This was taken at the Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence, Italy. The weather was poor and light was poor. The subject may not be that interesting, but I like the effect of the blurred background and it does bring forward the rider and his bike.

The rider is nice and sharp but movement is very evident in the bikes tyres and the background. I also enjoy the bright colours against the muted background. The bike is also well positioned, leaving good spacing in the direction of travel. Well done.
This is great. I love how sharp the motorcycle is; especially how it stand out against the other car behind it. You also caught him switching lanes; it looks crazy. Wonderful capture.
