My favorite plant to photograph is the Agave succulent plants. They have wonderful sculptural and abstract qualities, with strong lines, and curves and color.
I have reprocessed this one, for this DPC print version.
This image, was "Kodak" Photo of the Day, and shown on the "Kodak" big screen Picture Gallery, in New Yorks -"Times Square" on the 3rd. May 2006.
Everytime I see one of these plants in the gardens around our town I think of Shez and this gorgeous shot of hers. Shez, you touched a lot of hearts and lives
THIS PHOTO SO IMPRESSED ME WHEN I FIRST SAW IT QUITE A FEW YEARS AGO NOW - AND IT HAS GROWN ON ME EVEN MORE. I LOVE THE ARCHITECTURAL, SCULPTURAL FEEL YOU GIVE TO THE PLANT, AND EVEN MORE THOSE DELIGHTFUL COLOURS AND TONAL RANGE. A REALLY SUPERB PHOTO THAT I WILL NEVER TIRE OF LOOKING AT.
THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE MOST RECOGNIZED IMAGES OF YOURS, SHEZ... I LOVE IT, OF COURSE, BUT YOU HAVE SO MANY GREAT WORKS OF ART, THAT IT WOULD BE HARD TO NAME JUST ONE AS YOUR SIGNATURE IMAGE.
ALREADY PICKED BY THREE COMMENTERS TODAY OUT OF ALL THE BEAUTIFUL POSSIBILITIES IN YOUR PORTFOLIO - IT TRULY IS MOST WONDERFUL IN ITS LINES AND TONES, SHEZ.
