beautiful colors, but for me, a bit too centered horizontally. i think you'd have an over the top image if you had more water in the foreground and had cropped the top off a just above the mountains.
Nice photo but the first thing it made me do was rub my eyesand lean back away from my screen because if was so busy. I think its because of all the "white" brush surrounding the three elements....the tree, the sky, and the reflection.
I thought this shot would be a good candidate for HDR because it has a wide range of contrast. Go to my profile. I've copied your photo and put it thru Photomatix HDR. I like it, hope you do to. Write me if you are unfamiliar with this and would like to learn about it.
I really find the subtle tones very inviting...this is a shot I could sit with for a bit, and find little things about it I hadn't noticed before...I like that...
Now that's interesting. Usually these mirror type shots focus on symmetry but you used it here to show added detail of the tree and make it stand out more. Well done.
Beautiful composition - I like the reflection and the detail in the bushes and tree. The composition works well with the tree on the thrids line. I'd brighten things up a bit - there is some nice color in the shadows. You can keep the details in the sky by using shadow/highlights and a bit of judicious burning.
I like this better:
dunno what you think.
