the technique of channel mixing at this level is my absolute favorite effect. this is still one of my all time favorite IR shots. super contrasts of false color. great job! -john

I guess West Tennessee infrared landscape shots with a D70 and the 18-70 are good for a 6.4 egh?;-) Mine (Piece & Quiet) was 6.4108, so you edged me out (deservedly so). Great shot!

I like how the color of the trees arevery light pink and the are fluffy. they really do look like cotton candy.

Lovely IR. I love the composition of the trees and the play of their shadows. Wish the clouds could have been a bit larger and a little higher and farther left. But just a nit pick.

sorry, but this one just doesn't work for me. interesting idea, but not something i'm a huge fan of.

Interesting coloring here. Infrared? (or somekind of variant, thereof?) It's surreal, yet calming. I also like the composition with the dominant tree in the foreground on the right

This makes me want to play around with my IR filter just a bit more.

Fantastic. Cotton candy alright. Crisp and clean. Nice composition with the one big one in foreground, and others on back. 10

I typically like IR shots, but the pink really turns me off on this one.Message edited by author 2007-01-26 00:43:25.

really nice IR image...the sky is great and the tones are wonderful...the crop on the right doesn't look right to me, but that's minor
