 A small waterfall in the \"Kárahnjúkar\" area in Iceland, where a huge glacial river has now been damned and has created a huge lake. This waterfall, among countless others, is now on the bottom of that lake.

I don\'t know if this is my best shot of the year or not, but it is one of my favorites anyway, especially in memory.

Processing: Curves, resize, USM.

a beautiful vista, for sure, but i can't help but wonder what it would look like at a different time of day, under a more favorable light.

Needs a bit of saturation on the green channel and the blue sky looks overprocessed. Nice job with the water though.
