Taken in the hosital the day after he was born. The dad had told me before I even arrived that he had seen this shot and knew that it was one he wanted with his newborn. The mom was not so keen on a portrait session in the hospital after giving birth the day before but dad won out. After I had the images uploaded I got a call from the dad and was told that the mom is in love with and can not for the life her understand why she wouldn't have wanted to do these first shots of her baby.

This is really beautiful! What did you use for light in the hospital and for the background? This is amazing and I would love to do this for a friend of mine so any advice would be really apreciated :)
Absolutely sweet...I love how the baby has the hand gripped with the tiny fingers. Beautiful lighting. Would have been better imo without the ankle ID. Still, a highly emotive and nicely done shot.
I saw simillar picture once. It alwyas mooves me, how vulnerable children are. We should remember them like that when they will grow up. (No voting, just commenting)
This picture is wonderful. I voted on it, then came right back to it, kept the vote the same, then came right back again! It's soooo beautiful how the baby is clutching the finger. Lovely, emotive, touching image. 10.
