I happened to like very much the shallow DOF here - the colors are vibrant & rich - I gave this a 7 during voting & this certainly deserved a higher average!

I love the idea and colors, but I think at least some portion would have to be tack-sharp for higher score in this challenge. Still, very decent composition, and nice ruffles on leaf edges.

I like how close up the photo is. I like the backround blurried, but I think the entire flower should be sharpened. Not just part of it.
