A very striking and beautiful image. Composition - with position of flower and shadow within the frame - works very well. In this instance I like the way the subject escapes the border.
Water droplets and lighting add interest.
Ooooo... this is good. But why is the rose green? The delicacy of a rosebud is accentuated by it's warm, delicate colors. If you wanted to give off a feeling of desolation, why not place the rose in snow instead of just a plain white backround?
Beautiful crisp focus and nice (unexpected) color treatment. The only things I'd quibble with are the water droplets on the rose, which seem sort of conspicuous and added-on. Great picture overall.
