Excellent focus & dof -- beautiful pet portrait! Crop is a tad unappealing, though... << 7 >>

Best animal portrait in this cjallenge.....

Nice image, but the brightness of the background on the right draws the eye from the subject a little.

Aww sweet face! Good detail. I like the lighting. There must be some technical composition answer for this - why did you leave the extra space to the right?

Brilliant. So detailed, amazing sharpness and great DOF. One of the best. 9.

nice pet portrait, it looks genuinely concerned

Bring this fine feline out from background to enhance her rapt gaze.

IMO, this is better if cropped tighter. The floor on the right side doesn't really add to the overall.

really nice shot, too bad it got slightly cropped at the bottom.

wish you gotten her feet in the photo too. very nicely done, excellent focus

Is this the same cat as the one in "Shrek"?

Wow, incredibly sharp focus on those big pretty eyes.

Easily one of the finest cat portraits I've found on this site, in my opinion. 10 from me.

Thought it's not what I'm looking for (a portrait of people), I would still consider this to be a portrait (unlike some other images in the challenge). I love the shallow DOF focusing all attention on those eyes. Beautiful lighting and b&w treatment as well. Well done.
