Cloned out a couple things (blemishes, random hairs)
Converted to black & white w/channel mixer
Used levels to brighten the eyes a little
Slight dodging and burning

the eyes look nice... and the light is good... kind of a weird nose shadow... but i like it anyway :)

Too soft focus on the mouth? Cropping doesn't quite work somehow? Sepia tone?

Nice lighting. Too add a little more "wow factor" to this, you need to sharpen the image overall (but only a little bit), plus selectively sharpen her eyes.

Very nice tone, but I'm not sure brown and white is black and white. Excellent portrait though.
