Taken on my visit to Thailand at a remote site in the Chiayaphum area in north eastern Thailand. The model is my girlfriend Mai which comes from a town 3 hours drive away.
Editing:
1. Converted to B&W.
2. Selective coloring on the model.
3. Increased contrast on the sky and clarify too.
4. Contrast and Clarify on the landscape in the background.
5. Saturation on the model.
6. Roteded, crop, resize and USM.

sorry, this is just too confusing. i would have preferred you to either have shot a portrait or a landscape, but not try to cram both into one, especially when you've done such a nice bw conversion. the desat leaves her looking very much pasted in. the top of the photo, without her, is very strong, in and of itself.
hmm, great photo ... but in my opinion the model is just distracting the viewer from extraordinary landscape shot since the photo uses boring selective desaturation technique, so in my opinion without the model i would score tis 9 now i have to give 5
wow, what a place...I am not sure about the selective desaturation here, but it seems to work OK...the composition is great as is the crispness and contrast
