Cool idea, but I think milk from the carton or if it's a eating disorder thing, a visible slice of pie or cake would've worked better, IMO. Overall quality is lacking a bit also - has a snapshot / point and shoot and post feel to it.
I think cropping the large amount of wood cabinet from the top of the photo and perhaps the left side up to the subject's shoulder would improve the image
