I don't think the grain adds anythign to the image. I think the image is flat. I don't like the action of lighting a cigarette (I don't like smoking). So I guess overall I really can't endorse this picture.
Great capture! But, a bit too grainy. Was this cropped from a large shot? Perhaps, getting closer to the subject and using the "despeckle" or sharpen filters would have brought this into a little "crisper" a focus???
